The final post in an eight-part blog series on the people important to the Change of Heart story.
Change of Heart includes some fascinating people, distinctive characters of great accomplishment who played pivotal roles in the story I tell. I thought readers might want to know more about them.

Susan Stabile
Susan Stabile is a lawyer, law professor, spiritual director, and writer. Her book Growing in Love and Wisdom: Tibetan Buddhist Sources for Christian Meditation (Oxford University Press) stems from her unusual spiritual journey. Susan went from a New York, Italian Catholic girlhood, to twenty years as a Buddhist—two of them as a Buddhist nun in Tibet—to a return to her Catholic roots, deepened by the spiritual practices she learned along the way. Her book incorporates those Buddhist practices into Christian faith life, resulting in a fresh and intriguing approach to meditation and prayer.
Not done with journeying, in the past year Susan completed the arduous pilgrimage on the Camino de Santiago in a six-week walk across Spain.
She teaches law, leads spiritual retreats and writes a beautiful blog, Creo en Dios. She is currently working on a book aimed at young adults.
